The second and arguably most important decision a player will make when creating a character is choosing their character's class. This will determine your abilities and what tools you have available to overcome adversity as you journey through the lands of Norrath. Additionally, your choice of class will largely define what role you will perform in groups.
There are 15 classes, each primarily defined by one of 4 general archetypes: Tank, Melee, Healer, and Caster. Each class has its own unique abilities that serve to dictate their playstyle in most scenarios. Some classes possess a natural alignment, ie; Necromancers are always evil, while Paladin are always good. As a result, your character's class may change the way certain factions view you.
